you'll need:
- any weight yarn, 2 or more colors for optional striping, 50-200 yards / 45-180 meters total
- needles sized to match your yarn, a long circular is recommended (though it's all worked flat), and 2 double points if making i-cords
- a crochet hook for the provisional cast-on
