Swerve by Lee Meredith
a lot going on to keep a knitter interested, but no harder than knitting with lots of increases and decreases
- sideways edge cast-on means no picked up stitches
- faux cables
- works well with self-striping yarns to show off the different directions
- 3 adult sizes
-
you'll need:
- 90-135 yards / 80-125 meters aran weight yarn (or a worsted that's on the heavy side)
- size US 8 (or sized to get a gauge of 9.5 stitches in 2 inches) double points, or long circulars for magic loop, plus another set around 2 sizes smaller
- crochet hook for provisional cast-on
