a limitless set of custom hat patterns knit in any gauge with three different top designs

• your own custom hat exactly how you choose, fit perfectly to your head
• make it fitted, loose, slouchy, or beret style
• the sideways garter stitch brim can be any width, worked modularly with no picked up stitches
• use stripes to show off the different directions
• top designs all incorporate garter stitch, matching hat brim

you'll need:
• enough yarn for a hat in any weight, approx 80-150 yards / 70-140 meters total
• needles sized to match your yarn, a 16" circular and a set of double points, plus an optional longer circular (32" or longer) will be helpful
• crochet hook for provisional cast-on
