k2tog / Cable Right: The above video (on YouTube here) specifically shows the k2tog/C3R1 used in section 1 of Vire - the same technique will work for any right (back) cable which starts by working a k2tog decrease. (Vire section 1 also uses k2tog/C5R1, k2tog/C2R1, and k2tog/C1R1, so for these just replace the 3 front stitches in the video with 5, 2, and 1 front stitches, working them all the same way.)
