hat designed to use busy variegated colorways in any weight yarn, with a woven-looking slip-stitch pattern
- slip stitches are used to show off the colors in the variegation
- chevron patterned brim has slip stitches to match the body
- sized as you knit, from the top down
- woven slip stitch pattern was loosely inspired by basic potholder loom type weaving
- brim is meant to vaguely look like a knotted chevron friendship bracelet

you'll need:
- a variegated yarn in any weight, with color runs 2-10 inches / 5-25 cm long (yardage varies depending on size)
- needles sized to match yarn - a long circular to work magic loop method, or a set of double pointed needles and a 16 inch / 40 cm circular
- optional needle a couple sizes larger
