Short-Rows Wavy Hat by Lee Meredith
much easier to make than it may appear, this fitted hat will show off the color changes in a self-striping yarn
- worked sideways with short rows, increases and decreases
- stripe between 2 or more solids if you prefer
- finish with an optional i-cord topper
-
you'll need:
- 90-100 yards aran weight yarn, self-striping or multiple colors to make your own stripes
- size US 10 1/2 needles or sized to get gauge of 4 stitches per inch

This pattern used to be available as a free pdf download, but that was in a super old format and it needs to be remade/updated, so it was taken down for now - you can still find the original pattern in its original form (meaning, not a good representation of my pattern writing quality these days!) on that 2007 blog post.
