Pink Squish Hat by Lee Meredith

• worked sideways, then in the round, then sideways again, then in the round again
• connected entirely with short rows, no picked up stitches or seaming
• button closures make for almost no finishing steps
• quick and warm knit in bulky yarn
• garter stitch with cables make for extra squishy texture

you'll need:
• approx 140 yards / 130 meters of bulky weight yarn, sample is in Quince & co Puffin
• size US 10 1/2 16" circular needle and a set of double points (or size to get gauge of 13 stitches per 4 inches)
• cable needle
• two 1 inch wide buttons
