CUSTOM TRIYANG by Lee Meredith
mix and match the different sections from the Triyang collection patterns, with or without garter stitch and/or stockinette sections
- modular construction in 3 parts, no picked up stitches
- depending on custom choices, size may be determined by yarn weight, or you may be able to make any size with any weight
- modeled sample is in bulky weight, with stockinette, colorwork (Liy pattern), and cabled (Vire) sections
- mockups show how different combinations could potentially look
- use 1 color throughout for a more subtle mix+match look
- mixed-weight stockinette stripes instructions included
- cast on 2-3 stitches / bind off none at all
- all sections are on their own pages to keep it easy to use only what you need for your custom project

you'll need:
- approx 250-800 yards / 230-730 meters DK-bulky weight yarn, or you can use a finer weight (possibly more yardage) if you choose your custom sections to be able to customize your size
- see this grid for very approximate yardage estimates (included in pattern); if you do not use collection (lace/cable/colorwork) patterns in the top or bottom sections, then you can make your piece any size in any weight, so yardage will be different
- needles sized to match yarn - a circular needle 32"/80cm or longer for holding the stitches
